Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, Tanzania

Ants and beetles of the Eastern Arc Mountains and Coastal Forests Hotspot - a survey of 15 forests in Tanzania from 2005–2008, funded by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF).

Over 400 species of ants in 55 genera were sampled during three one-month surveys; 10 of the genera had not previously been confirmed from Tanzania and over 100 of the species were undescribed. To date at least 15 of these species have subsequently been described.
